stok tots: i finally got my acr mining corp property dividends! (21 may 2016)

i finally got my acr mining corporation property dividends. i got it yesterday (20 may 2016) from the alsons office in chino roces in magallanes ...

mejo hustle pa .. kasi i got to the alsons office at 2.30 p,m. i was at the gate at the guards area ... they called the lady in charge of handing out the stock divs thru their phone ... it so happened that the lady was in a meeting ... so i was asked to wait in the guards area .. pota .. ganun pala dun .. sa guards area pinag hihintay yun stockhodlers ng company nila puking ina talaga .. a few minutes went by then a messenger from some company came .. and he was also after the property divs ... and same as me ... he was asked to wait in the guards area ... by 3.30 .. atat na atat na ako .. i asked the guard to call again ... this time ... i was allowed to go in ... 3rd floor daw ... pota .. pwede naman pala mag hintay sa reception area dun sa 3rd floor .. the lady was still in the meeting ... but another lady went out of their meeting room to accommodate me .. maliit lang naman acrmc prop divs ko .. but the lady said ... "wow .. ang laki pala ng hawak nyo sir!" .. i was asked to sign many papers .. one of which was a list of owners of the prop divs .. pota .. meron dun 7 digits ang pagaari na prop divs .. sino kaya yun? anyways .. i signed everything that was to be signed .. showed my i.d.s .. and .. yun na .. i am a proud owner of the prop divs ..

now the interesting question is this .. ano gagawin ko sa stock certificates? (2 certificates kasi i used two of my brokers to buy acr .. the mother company of which acrmc was the prop divs) ... acrmc is not listed .. and i dont know how much is the prop divs worth?

well .. i hope alsons will eventually list acrmc in the pse ... and i hope their tampakan mines gets folded in to acrmc ... pota that will be the day!

p.s.: fridays lang sila nagbibigay ng property divs ... so friday next week na ulet!

stok tots: why i sold my gtcap, jfc and secb (19 may 2016)

recently, i sold gtcap (last tuesday), jfc (yesterday) and secb (today) ..

why did i sell those stocks one after the other?

well for the simple reason that their macd histograms are already on the decline after peaking ...

1. gtcap (bought 1350; sold 1443, 1444)

2. jfc (bought 220; sold 235)

3. secb (bought 165 - 170; sold 192)

it may be asked, if i am following the macd histogram as an indicator, why did i sell immediately after they peaked when there is no sell signal yet? well. it is because i am not following the sell signal of the macd histogram! i sell ahead ... i sell once the macd histogram starts its descent from its peak, not when the sell signal first appears in the macd indicator system (which may appear further down the road .. but at a lower price already) ..

but what if the price immediately reverses and resumes its ascent? there's the rub, but then, ill just wait for the macd histogram to be in the "proper" position before i buy the stock again ... or just look for another stock which fits my requirements.

stok tots: CA, ISM, ALT (19 may 2016)

in at least 3 recent instances, the prices of stocks went up just after it was announced that annual stock holders meetings will be held (CA, ISM and ALT) ...

in each of those stocks, prices reacted wildly upwatds for a few days with nothing except the disclosures to support them ... and then .. prices came crashing down ....

i made some money on each of these stocks, selling while the price action is still in my favor ...

what im tryng to say here is that ... nothing new will be announced in the annual stock holders meetings ... everything has already been announced in the disclosures .. so the price action is just momentum being exploited while it is still hot ... nothing else ...

stok tots: i sold my alt (15 may 2016)

i sold my miniscule alt position last friday ...

it took me sometime to decide whether to hold or sell it .. i sold it at around 3.20 p.m na .. (syempre sa ceiling) .. i bought it at 3.80 (76 pesos pa at the time) ...

i was thinking ... if i held on to my miniscule position (20k shares) .. maliit lang kikitain ko .. assuming mag 10 pesos .. i would forego aronnd 60k pesos ... better redeploy it somewhere else (kung bakit kasi ang liit lang ang binili ko ... haaay) ...
