non-stok tots: ramen time (21 apr 2013)

last week, after consulting with my doctor at the heart center for a possible rogue blood clot in my left leg ... i tot of having my late lunch (it was already around 1.30 pm then) at sm north's the bloc ... it must have been eons ago already since i last malled around the bloc's premises ... i think it was on the 3rd floor where i saw kimono ken .. havent been to kimono ken ever .. and i asked the cute attendant at the door if they have ramen and gyoza ... upon hearing the affirmative ... i braved their irasshai welcome and seated my self just near the entrance ... i was offered some fancy ramen .. it is their house best daw ... i just said .. "give me one bowl of shoyu ramen ... and if they can steam their gyoza .. i want it with my san mig light" ..  they also have kirin .. pero maybe next time ill have kirin with my gyoza ...

well .. their bowl of shoyu ramen is quite small (my standard bowl of shoyu ramen is shinjuku's at little tokyo across makati cinema square) ... their steamed gyoza (5 pieces) is also comparatively smaller than shinjuku's .. i also have to ask for their condiments (they only have 2) .. unlike in shinjuku where they are already set on the table waiting with you for the shoyu ramen bowl ... and shinjuku has 4 condiments to mix and match with youre ramen ... pero ... of course the san mig light is ever refreshing anytime of the day ...

for around 450 pesos (kimono ken has a 6% service charge) for the shoyu ramen-gyoza-biiru combination ... pwede na pampalipas gutom ... pero di ako at ease sa pang mayaman-fast food epek ng kimono ken ambiance ... pero .. as i said .. pwede na pampalipas gutom ...

i was told meron ramen resto din sa trinoma just across sm north ... sa susunod hanapin ko yun after my next heart center consultation ...
