the macd histogram is an important tool for a short term trend follower ... it is based on the position of the histogram whether i enter a stock i intend to buy ... but that is NOT the topic of this post ...
so .. while the macd histogram is important during entry ... are there other instances when the histogram is important? wala na!
once i have entered a stock ... the macd histogram is altogether forgotten ... it is no longer important ... it has no more role in my trading for a particular stock ...
once i have entered a stock position .. the only thing i am concerned about now is when do i sell ...
and i sell when my stops are hit ... there is no other indicator that i need when i already have a particular stock except my trailing stops ... when a trailing stop is hit .. i sell ... ganun lang ...
so .. to recapitulate:
on entry .. histogram is important ...
on exit ... trailing stop is important ...
thanks ...
