when a companys CFO sells his companys stok ... it could be for any reason ... to fund his kids education ... to buy a new house ... to buy a car ... but when he buy his companys stok ... it is only for one reason ... the company is doing good or it will be doing good - from richard thaler (2017 nobel prize in economics)
example:
on June 22 2017, the SEC reported that Mr. Washington Sycip, Co-Chairman of MAC, bot 10 million shares of MAC at 5.85 ... yesterday ... 09 October 2017... MAC closed at 15.52 ... almost 3x the original price he bot it .... unfortunately .. Mr. Sycip died na on 07 October 2017 ... pero matindi pa din sya ... at the last moments of his life ... acute pa din ang trading skills nya ...
