this morning (23 feb 2013), i brought the puppy to our neighborhood vet for his scheduled shots ... on the way out of our village .. our local jaryo bote guy saw us and asked about the puppy .. i told him we're just off to the vet ... he asked "hush pupppies?" .. i was quite surprised for i was unmistakably wearing a three-striped adidas pair ... after a brief moment ... i noticed he was referring to the puppy .. and only then did i realise that the puppy looked like pookie, the doggie on the logo of the hush puppies shoes ... oo nga naman .. kamuhka ng hushpuppies ... altho pookie was a basset hound and our puppy is a dachshund-mix ...
well .. so why am i making a post about it here?
in trading .. id like to keep things simple and erase from my mind such junk which i think does not add anything to what the chart in front of me is already saying ...
what do i mean? i just think in terms of support and resistance: brakedown of support or brakeout from resistance .. bouncing from support or hitting the resistance ... instead of trying to identify whether the chart of a stock is a pennant .. a flag .. a head and shoulders .. an inverse head and shoulders ... a falling wedge . a symmetrical triangle ... and calculating target prices and durations which just fixates my mind to something in the FUTURE which may or may never happen ... rather than simply trading with the ebb and rise and flow of the market NOW ...
of course others may think otherwsie .. well ... to each his own ...
